Whole plant: In a bath. Juice or Leaf: Used as an antirheumatic, also to treat paralysis and increase fertility.

Action:

Leaf—carminative, antiinflammatory, astringent, spasmolytic, antidiarrhoeal, diuretic, antilithic.

Root— anti-inflammatory. Used for rheumatic affections, piles, inflammations of the liver, spleen and chest.
